Being able to stick things together effectively makes craft and creativity so much more satisfying for children. Glue or tape that doesn’t stick can lead to disappointing results and the whole experience can be demoralising, so it’s worth making sure you invest in the good stuff. PVA, Pritt Stick, Sellotape, strong masking tape and a glue spreader are all good basics to have in your craft box. Use them for junk-modelling and collage, making scrapbooks and posters. For a very simple way to make a badge: draw a picture or your name onto masking tape, snip off the piece of tape and stick it on!
