FabricOne Hundred Toys
Of all the toys we recommend, fabric is perhaps the most unexpected and delightful. From dens to dressing up, small world play to climbing, fabric's uses are myriad.
Squares of colourful, floaty silk are wonderful additions to the toy box but even an old sheet will do. And you don't need an instruction manual. Simply make it available and see what your children come up with.
In the 100 Toys house it has been:
a cloak, a river, a trap, a ghost, a den, a waterfall, a headscarf, a tourniquet, a sling, reins for a pony, a tow cable, a bandage, a flag, a door, a snowball and handcuffs.
And that was just this week.
