Washing line and clothes pegsOne Hundred Toys
A washing line (and some wooden pegs) is a surprisingly useful piece of kit to have around.
Use it as a learning aid to peg up number or letter cards. Get your child to put them in the right order, or take one away and see if they know which one is missing. Hang up only the odd, or even, numbers. Are they interested in colours, or pairs? Hang up socks and match the pairs. Pegs are also great for strengthening a developing pincer grip. And of course, you can use a washing line to display your children’s beautiful artwork.
