Better than any toy box: the recycling bin
Where do you look first when you need a special piece for a construction challenge?
Maybe you don't have enough blocks to build a keep for your castle. Perhaps there's a pesky tower-toppling toddler at large. Or you might simply want something that's sturdy and quick to make.
Should you look in the toy box?
No. Raid the recycling bin.
Boxes and plastic bottles are great for rapid construction. Keep some sellotape and crayons to hand and you can make something brilliant in moments.
What's your favourite junk to model with?
